Study Costs In Australia

Australia is a great Country to get quality education and to experience an interesting student life. On the other hand, the quality education and interesting experience doesnt come cheap for students.

On average, an International student in Australia will spend about A$500 a week on accommodation, food, clothing, entertainment, transport and on telephone bills. This is just an average but it really depends on your location, lifestyle and your course of study.
I will therefore advice you seek further information on living expenses from your institution of study.

International stusents are also required to maintain Overseas student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa. It is therefore a good idea to purchase travel insurance from your country to cover lost baggage, cancellation of plane tickets, repatriation e.t.c.
